Originally from Germany, I have been living in Finland since 2003. I am looking forward to showing you my favorite sights and corners of Helsinki. The Finnish capital is a beautiful city, showcasing fascinating architecture, beautiful coast line, cozy park areas and many nice restaurants and cafés. I’ll tell you more about the Finns and also about their language, famous for its difficult grammar. In my opinion, the best way to get to know Helsinki is either by walking in combination with the tram, or by bicycle. I am authorized to guide in Helsinki including sea fortress Suomenlinna (Unesco world heritage). My aim is to give you comprehensive overview of the history and culture of the city and a look behind the scenes of Finnish society. In addition, you will learn at least three words of Finnish, promise.
