Hello, I’m Philipp – an official guide with a passion for Munich and Bavaria. I am 42 years old, half German and half Spanish, and I grew up in Germany. From early on, I realized how much places and their stories fascinate me. In Munich, I am constantly inspired by special spots: from Alte Utting and Bahnwärter Thiel with their colorful, creative atmosphere, to historic landmarks like Michaelskirche, the Old Court, or the elegant Amalienburg in Nymphenburg Palace Park. And of course, the fairytale castle of Neuschwanstein never ceases to enchant me. In 2025 I finally turned my passion into a profession and became a certified city guide of Munich, offering tours in German, English, and Spanish. My perspective on Munich is enriched by my career as an architect, opening up surprising new insights. I am also a member of the MVG and BVGD guide associations. Besides my native German, I speak fluent English and Spanish, as well as some French. What drives me? To show people from all over the world my city and my country the way I experience them: vibrant, diverse, and full of stories.
