Bassano: The Bridge, the Grappa and much more

Bassano is named according to the Grappa Massif, where during the First Word War several battles took place. Bassano is a charming medieval town built on the Brenta riverbanks, climbing the hill up to the former castle.
Well-known thanks to the medieval wooden Bridge, for which the famous architect Andrea Palladio delivered a renovation project in the 16th century.
Bassano invites to enjoy architecture, views and picturesque corners. It’s a perfect town for shopping as well: Bassano has been manufacturing ceramics since the 17th century and is well-known for the Grappa varieties created by renowned producers that can be tasted next to the historical bridge, where the inhabitants love drinking the typical “meso&meso” aperitif.
