Claudia

Hello from Dresden, I'm Claudia and I like to show guests from all over the world my hometown and the beautiful surroundings. Dresden is located in eastern Germany on the route between Prague and Berlin, a beautiful city to enjoy and linger in, with lots of art and culture, embedded in the river landscape of the Elbe. Born near Berlin, I studied history and art history at the university in Dresden and, after a few stays abroad, here is my permanent base, the center of my life, friends and family. I will show you the wonderfully reconstructed historic old town, in a relaxed but well-founded way, simply history in stories, without bore you with numbers. As an art historian, I would be happy to take you on a tour of the many museums in the Residenzschloss, the jewels in the Green Vault, but also works of art by Raffael, Rubens, Rembrandt and Gerhard Richter in the picture galleries. It's time to discover the young and lively Neustadtviertel with pubs, restaurants and great inner courtyards. With the sandstone formations of Saxon Switzerland, romantic vineyards between Dresden and medieval Meissen, imposing castles and baroque palaces within a radius of just 30 kilometers, Dresden also has a lot to offer for active and leisurely vacationers. Dresden - world famous and still unknown - discover it! I would be happy to give you tips for your visit and help you with reservations and planning.
