Hi folks - I am Conni and it is now more than 15 years that I’ve been living here in Edinburgh. I was born in Germany, studied over there and in Southern Italy and worked as a city guide in Berlin and as a walking tour guide mainly in Liguria and Southern Italy. I just LOVE Edinburgh and of course I LOVE living in Scotland! Edinburgh is an amazing city: the castle - THE top Scottish visitor attraction - is watching from the top of its Craig over the medieval Old Town and the New Town built in the 18th and 19th century. And we will walk in this surprisingly compact area between the Royal Mile with its medieval skyscrapers and wee back streets and the generous Georgian architecture of the New Town to get a first impression and orientation: complex history and sometimes scary stories, modern culture city and lively centre of everyday life for nearly half a million inhabitants.
