I am a former station manager at Lufthansa German Airlines in Venice (Italy), with over 35 years experience in commercial aviation. Over the years my career enabled me to visit some of the most remote countries in the world and their peculiar cultures and customs. My passion for recreational navigation has taken me along the Greek shores on a regular basis every year, with my husband and our sailboat, following the trade routes of the ancient Venetian merchants. My love for Venetian history and art, my outspoken personality and cosmopolitan experience set me on a new career-path as a city guide in my own city, Venice. As of recent, I began spending part of the year in Australia, on a regular basis. In the land of down under, I am a local guide for the Australian Maritime Museum and the Sydney Heritage fleet in Sydney, NSW, where my focus steers towards the amazing maritime history and the gorgeous flora and fauna of Australian wildlife.
