2-hours walking tour in Pula
Roman emperors once kept their people happy with “panem et circensis” (bread and circus games), organized chariot races in the Circus Maximus, gladiator fights and animal baiting in amphitheatres. In addition, the spectators were also fed free of charge. The rulers also used the events for political purposes, to present successors or to have themselves celebrated.
Let us walk through the streets of Pula together and feel the magic of antiquity between facts, backgrounds and stories; Arena, Porta Gemina, Hercules Gate, the market, Triumphal Arch, Roman Forum, Augustus Temple and much more. Pula is the "most colorful" city in Istria - this is where the Romans, Venetians, Austrians and many others meet. Come with us, we will show you our city!
