Trogir - The Most Beautiful Island City In The World

National Geographic book “The World’s Best Cities” named Trogir as the most beautiful island city in the world. In the book “The World’s Best Cities” published in 2015, National Geographic recommends: ” Take an afternoon stroll with gelato in hand through the medieval maze of streets. Blessed with stunning nature and an easygoing pace of life, this immaculately preserved Adriatic fort may just be a perfect microcosm of Croatia.“

Every step made among the stone houses and palaces of Trogir is an exceptional experience. The historical core of the city, located on a small island between the mainland and the island of Čiovo, was duly recognised by UNESCO in 1997. Trogir is also known as "small Venice" and "city museum" due to its century-long history.
