Alba - the secret capital
When I tell my guests that I live in Alba, they reply: Oh, between Barolo and truffles. Yes, that's right. But Alba has much more to offer.
Let's walk through the small streets together, we discover a rare and wonderfully preserved choir stall in the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, we climb down into the vault of a bank and marvel that the symbols of the four evangelists form the name ALBA.
We walk on Roman streets - Alba even represents a Roman emperor - through medieval alleyways with their defiant residential towers and also see modern architecture. Culture, history, economic growth, some of the most important Italian companies, writers like Beppe Fenoglio: Alba has a lot to offer and not just gastronomy.
Let's discover together the secret capital of Piedmont. A fixed term in tourism, I will show you the unknown aspects
