Riga Old Town & Central Market
The old town of Riga with its narrow cobblestone streets not only offers magnificent buildings from the Middle Ages, but also unique sacral structures.
The buildings in the old town are diverse and were built in different epochs of history. It has more than 500 buildings in different architectural styles - romantic, gothic, mannerist, baroque, eclectic, modern, etc.
Continue the tour to the Riga Central Market - one of the largest markets in Europe, consisting of five zeppelin hangars, old port warehouses and open spaces. Here you can buy typical Latvian food and beverages, seedlings, seeds and flowers. Once a year (at the midsummer festival) it becomes the largest flower market in the world.
Excursion includes a guided tour of Riga's old town and Riga Central Market, pickup and drop-off from a centrally located hotel or cruise ship at Riga passenger port.
