Coimbra, a World Heritage Site since 2013, is a city steeped in history and tradition, inevitably associated with its famous university (one of the oldest in Europe) and its library. The city boasts a vast and significant historical heritage, with origins stretching back to Roman, Jewish, and Muslim times and the dawn of Portugal. There is much, much to see.

Located between Porto and Lisbon, and just a few minutes from Coimbra, Conimbriga, a true gem of Roman heritage, currently the largest Roman city in Portugal and in the good state of preservation. On this tour, we will explore this wonderful archaeological site, its museum, and the nearby village, built on the ruins of ancient Conimbriga, where the arches of the amphitheater are still visible.
