Day Trip To Uppsala

Uppsala is the 4th largest city in Sweden, it has been a religious and learning centre since Medieval times. The City is very compact, packed with attractions at a short walking distance from each other. Uppsala is bike and family friendly. Pick-up:  we meet in Stockholm Central Station, and board a train (for a 40' ride) across the Swedish countryside,. From Uppsala station, we drive to the Old area of the city where we stop by: - Carl Von Linne Museum, the Great botanist - Uppsala Medieval Cathedral  (from 13th century) - The Old University Building & Academic park - Uppsala University Library (Carolina Redeviva ) - Uppsala Uppland Museum - the Botanical Gardens (the Tropical Garden & the Orangery) - Uppsala Medieval Castle ( from 1600) - Coffee break ( inside the Castle) Then we drive to the the station & back to Stockholm.
