4-Hour Tallinn Bus Tour with a Walk in the the Old Town
The ultra-modern quarters of the new city lie just near the Gothic old town. Old suburbs with their small wooden houses are hidden behind the skyscrapers. Add traces of Soviet urban planning to the mix and you get the contrasting cityscape of Tallinn.
The tour starts with a bus tour through the city center. The tour takes us to the beautiful park Kadriorg (German Katharinental) with its baroque castle, which was built by Peter the Great for his wife in the 18th century.
We continue to the Singer's Stage, where thousands of people come together every 5 years to sing, and then to the sailing port of Pirita and the romantic ruins of the Birgitten monastery.
The tour then leads back along the promenade by the sea to the city center. Here we discover the old town on a two-hour walk: the aristocratic Domberg with the long Hermann, the old cathedral and great viewpoints, as well as the Hanseatic lower town Reval with the old town hall, guild and merchant houses. And this is just a small selection of what you can expect!
Pick up from the hotel / airport / port. The tour lasts 4 hours and includes a bus ride and a tour. The trip is interrupted by short walks and photo breaks. Coffee breaks can always be taken. Good footwear is recommended. The tour is suitable for participants of all ages.
