Then let's continue on the Palladio trail: the majestic Basilica, the elegant Palazzo Chiericati and the breath-taking Teatro Olimpico, where Palladio's Genius is displayed at his best are not to be missed during your visit. You'd want more and more of it! Then why not strolling around the narrow streets until we reach one of our tiny Roman bridges? Vicenza was a Roman "municipium" back in 49 b. C. although we have few visible remainders of those time. The sight from there is really romantic and picturesque. At the end of the day or just when you feel to, sit down and have a "spritz" (typical long dring) or eat a gorgeus gelato.
