Christmas markets and tradition
It's Christmas time ... and Prague is a fairy-tale that we would like to show you. The best part is a bit off the beaten track, as there are Christmas markets in Prague on every corner - not just the Old Town Square (which is open until the 6th of January, as an invitation to celebrate New Year's Eve in Prague and watch the official fireworks on the 1st of January). We can get into the mood for Christmas in a wonderful exhibition of nativity scenes. The Christmas carps are sold everywhere on the streets about a week before the festival and taken home by the locals (sometimes alive for the children). In the pastry shops you can already admire traditional Czech Christmas dishes ... So - a honey wine in the hand and off we go!
