In Search Of Serliane (palladian Windows)

An itinerary designed to discover the 'Palladian window' in several palaces in the centre of Vicenza, not only from the Renaissance period, but also later. We will therefore take a 'nose up' walk, which will lead us to discover the work of Andrea Palladio, but will also allow us to see how this architectural solution has been interpreted in other epochs. This is certainly not the classic Palladian itinerary, but it is a route specially designed for those who wish to explore a particular motif in the work of the great Renaissance architect. The tour of the lesser-known - but no less fascinating - buildings will culminate and end in Piazza dei Signori, where we will be enraptured by the serene composure of the Basilica and the imposing Loggia del Capitaniato, two emblematic monuments of our treasure chest of secrets: Vicenza, city of "palazzi".
