Jerusalem And Bethlehem From Tel Aviv

As we journey through the historical road to Jerusalem, marvel at the inspiring landscapes and hear stories of King Solomon, the Romans, the Crusaders, and the forces that fortified this very route. Learn about the conflicts of 1948 that shaped the geopolitics of today.

Arriving in Jerusalem, take in a breathtaking view of the Old City from the Mt. of Olives. Discover the Roman city plan that has remained unchanged for 1,900 years, that served as the basis of the 16th century dividing the city into four quarters. Witness the magnificence of the Temple Mount and the iconic Dome of the Rock. Understand the significance of Mt. of Olives, with its parallel traditions of the Day of Judgment in the three Abrahamic religions.

Step onto the cobblestone streets of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old City of Jerusalem. Experience the spiritual atmosphere as we visit the Western Wall, the holiest place in Judaism. Enter the revered Church of the Holy Sepulchre, believed to be the site of Jesus' crucifixion and burial. Walk along the Via Dolorosa, explore the Byzantine Cardo, and wander through the enchanting Armenian Quarter. Enjoy an authentic Middle Eastern lunch and soak up the grandeur of this sacred place.

If time permits, we'll visit Mount Zion, where you'll hear about the intriguing "World War Zero" of the 14th century regarding King David's Tomb and the Room of the Last Supper, each holding deep historical significance.

Continue to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. Stroll through Manger Square, home to the revered Church of the Nativity. Descend into the Grotto of the Nativity, believed to be the birthplace of Jesus. Visit the Armenian transept and the Roman Catholic Basilica of St. Catherine, where the Central Christmas ceremony is broadcast annually to the world.

If time allows, we'll drive by the Graffiti Wall and Banksy's hotel and gift shop, adding a modern touch to the tour.

As the day draws to a close, return to Tel Aviv.
